#THENONOTESSHOWLLC – “New California Law Creates (Ebony Alert for Missing Black Women and Children”
Yesterday – (10/11/2023), California Governor, Gavin Newsom, signed Senate Bill 673, a new law that affords the capability for police to activate a notification now know as “Ebony Alerts” when Black women and children within the age range of (12-25) are reported missing.
THE NO NOTES SHOW LLC did a show on the “Black and Missing Foundation also know as (BAMFI).” This organization provides statistical information on Black children that are missing in the United States. Information reported by (BAMFI) is classified more as Black children that run away from home.
California is setting the precedent by taking action to locate Black women and children that are reported missing.
